About Me:

Fashion Designer, Renee Michele, was born and raised in the suburbs New Jersey. From her mother and grandmothers skilled in sewing to other close relatives involved in some form of design or modeling, there’s no way, Renee Michele would not have at least taken a dab in fashion during her life-time. Even from a very young age, being dissatisfied with the selection of clothing for her dolls, Renee would sketch and assemble original garments for them. Renee made the definite decision to pursue the art of Fashion at the young age of 11. She received a degree in Design and Tailoring in 1992. She also attended Philadelphia College of Textile and Science (currently known as Philadelphia University) majoring in fashion design. During her education she received various awards for garment construction and graduated with the ‘most promising designer’ award. Renee has had the privilege of being taught and mentored by a Parson’s alumni. This allows her to present her craft in confidence. Directly out of school, Renee focused on mainly alterations and t-shirt design.
Soon after making the transition of moving to Nashville, TN in 2000, she began styling for numerous musicians. Being a performing artist by right herself, Renee empathizes the importance to establish ‘a brand’ or unique look an artist/ musician must present before their audience and label executives. Renee Michele’s style would be defined as fresh and elegant. Knowing that trends come and go, she designs and styles with newness and longevity in mind.
Amongst her busy schedule, she styles and designs for both new and established performing artists in the Nashville area.
